Offering a non-accessible service is an administrative offence carrying up to €100,000.
The BFSG has applied since 28 June 2025. The federal states set up a single joint body, the MLBF, which supervises compliance nationwide.

Section 37(1) no. 8 BFSG makes it an administrative offence to offer or provide a service contrary to section 14(1) — the accessibility requirements for services, which is where websites and online shops sit.

For that offence the fine is up to one hundred thousand euro. Other breaches under the section carry up to ten thousand euro.
Die Ordnungswidrigkeit kann in den Fällen des Absatzes 1 Nummer 1, 7, 8, 9 und 10 mit einer Geldbuße bis zu hunderttausend Euro und in den übrigen Fällen mit einer Geldbuße bis zu zehntausend Euro geahndet werden.
The €100,000 figure is not a vendor's scare number — it is the ceiling written into section 37(2), and the service case is explicitly in the higher band.
